Not too much exciting today. Piper slept pretty well last night - almost 4hr stretches. So, I felt pretty good when I got up - other than a stiff neck from sleeping with her in the recliner again! I really need to get her to sleep in the bassinet at night! I do not know why, but she really does not like being in there at night! She will sleep fine in there during the day. I think I have to use one of my shirts as the sheet on the mattress, and maybe my scent will help her feel more comfortable in there at night!
So, we really did not do too much today. It was very cold out, and it was actually snowing! No accumulation, but it was coming down! Macie was so excited, thinking that she would get to try out the new sledding hill in our backyard. Bud and I tried to explain to her that it was not going to stick, and it was highly unlikely that she was going to get to go sledding today!!
Sam was his usual troublesome self today. Bud had gone to the grocery store, and Sam was watching TV in the living room. I was in the family room nursing Piper, and Macie had come in there to sit with me. I heard a loud kaboom, and Macie went running to see what had happened. I did not hear any tears, so that was good! Macie came back running, and said that Sam had flipped the coffee table over! Oh geez, this boy is a handful! Luckily, he did not do any (further) damage to the table! It was a Christmas gift from Bud for our first Christmas together, and between the 2 of them, they have already broken one of the doors.
Hailey got 2 of her tests back today. A math test - she got 106% on it! The other test was for social studies. That one she got a 100% on! We are so proud of her! She has adjusted so well to her new school (although, we had no doubts that she would).
Now, just a few pictures to end the night. Macie just loves being a big sister again! Hailey does too! And, Sam is indifferent! Also, I caught a sleepy smile on the camera!
